ESKOM GENERATION TOSCAS AWARDS 2011

M PRODUCTIONS was one again the Technical Supplier for the Eskom Generation Toscas Awards Ceremony.  The theme was F1 Racing and this gave us a great platform to work from. 

The venue for this prestigious event, was Theatre on the Track in Midrand.  Choosing this venue greatly contributed to the success of this event, as this venue is made for Technical Productions like this.

The morning awards function was attended by 500 delegates and VIP's from all over South Africa representing the verious Powerstations that supply us with power every day.

M PRODUCTIONS together with INTENSE DESIGN and IMAGE CREATION, put together a concept and stage design of international standards.

The Stage, supplied by INTENSE DESIGN, consisted of a 2x Level stage with Animated Stretch Dome.

M PRODUCTIONS supplied the technical including 6x 55" Plasma Screens & 6x Moving Head Profiles on Stage together over 30 LED Parcans was used on the stage set.

A JBL PRX PA- and Monitoring system was used and mixed on a Yamaha 01V-96.  JBL Eon G2 Speakers where used as delays at 20m.

The Lighting Program was done on the new Avolites Titan Mobile using a Touch Screen PC giving us Programming Power at out fingertips.  This GREATLY Contibuted to the WOW of the Car Unveil. Together with the over 30 LED Parcans and 6x Moving Head Profiles on Trussing Totems on Stage, we also patched into the venue's Parcan and Dimmerpack system, using over 24 Par64 Stage Lights and 8 Profiles to light up the Stage

 Audio Visual consisted of two 3,5m x 4,5m  screens  from the roof with Sanyo XP57 projectors, (which are inhouse at the venue)  Together with 6x 55" Plasma Screens on .  AV control consisted of a standard Kramer Seamless Switcher to mix between the Laptops, live video feed and DVD's used for the Production
