AVON/JUSTINE BACK TO WORK CONFERENCE - JAN 2011

M PRODUCTIONS was fortunate in working with AVON/JUSTINE on a fantastic project involving spectacular ideas for their annual Back to Work Conference.

This year, the conference was held at the SANDTON CONVENTION CENTRE. The Bill Gallagher Room was used for the day conference sessions, with 6x breakaway rooms in the Boardrooms at SCC.

The Gala Dinner was held in Ballroom 3&4 with a New York theme as the backdrop for the event. M PRODUCTIONS together with INTENSE DESIGN and PENMAC, put together a concept and stage design of international standards.

The Stage, supplied by INTENSE DESIGN, consisted of a 4x Level stage with Stretch covered pannels on stage, with two 5m x 20m stretch screens on both sides of the Ballroom.  PENMAC supplied the projection with a video stitched wall using 6x projectors and “Watchout” software, to create a slow revolving New York Skyline.

M PRODUCTIONS supplied the rest of the technical.  The sound consisted of an AD Systems Line Array flown from the roof, together with a complete Backline and Monitoring system on stage.

Intelligent Lighting was flown from the roof as well as supported from trussing totems covered by totem socks. A total of over 50 LED parcans were used in the production.

 Audio Visual consisted of two 3,5m x 4,5m aluminium trussing screens flown from the roof with Sanyo XP200 projectors  used for rear projection.  AV control consisted of a Data Video Mixer, live video feed together with two 50” plasma screens on stage for presenter preview monitors.

 Backline was supplied for a performance by GARTH TAYLOR AND HIS SWING BAND mixed on a Yamaha LS9 Digital sound desk.
