M PRODUCTIONS have a huge variety of sound equipment, processors, sound desks, microphones and cables to handle all shows from small conferences to large outdoor events. We now own a 25kW (10-A-Side) AD Systems Line Array which could handle outdoor events up to 8000 pax. We also own a smaller Yorkville Elite PA System as well as various smaller systems including JBL Eon G2's, Work WPL5A's, ECLER, and EV to name a few.
The CLA Series line array system meets the prerequisites of touring and installation companies in many respects. Up to now rental companies had to make use of a multitude of different PA systems – the CLA Series radically changes this situation.
The principle component of each CLA system is the CLA-2 mid/high module. An extremely compact, lightweight and highcapacity line array element, CLA-2 is equipped with a specially designed 10” low/mid Neodym loudspeaker and 2x1” Neodym H.F. compression drivers mounted on AD Systems unique VLAT waveguide to generate a coherent wavefront.
The CLA-2 has a horizontal dispersion of 90º and is a degree precise curvable unit allowing the creation of a controlled vertical dispersion angle.
The CLA-2 benefits from integral flying hardware and quick release pins approved to BGV-C1 . Vertical adjustment is made at the rear of each cabinet. The front of the cabinets are fixed together to ensure effective line curvature. The CLA-2 can be used without flown bass. The units are exceedingly effective in full range array applications by virtue of the vented cabinet design and low tuning frequency.
The CLA-D downfill is equipped with the same 10” low/mid Neodym loudspeaker as CLA-2 but with a single 1” Neodym HF compression driver mounted on a specially developed horn. The horn provides a horizontal dispersion angle of 100º a vertical dispersion of 5º up maintaining an effective waveform and 30º down to provide near field coverage. The advantage of this configuration is the CLA-D can be used at the bottom of each line without creating high levels of reflective sound whilst providing maximum near field coverage.
